Dear Bonnie and JR,
I know that it was the Lord that help me find you, I use to receive your Take A Minute Devotionals that you were so kind to send to me, but when my laptop crashed almost 2 years ago I lost your email address and I couldn't remember how to find your Take A Minute Devotional website. So I did the only thing that I knew how and I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to bring your name and your ministry to my memory and tonight the Lord was so so faithful as He always is and here I am.
 
I would just be so so grateful to you both if you would please, please put me on your distribution list for receiving your Take A Minute devotional each day!

The Holy Spirit revealed to you the other part of Jesus being "locked out" so to speak and I am so thankful you shared this with the world.  (Re: Take a Minute, 9/18/09 -- LOCKED OUT -- Revelation 3:20 NIV)

You are, in short, an incredible writer and to let you know how you affect other's lives, when we (readers that never tell you this) read your writings and scribes, it is as if God is talking directly to us.

Honestly, I have never once found a human able to convey His Word in such a truly "resonating" manner and that includes every pastor, Christian speaker, etc.

This is a BIG thank you Bonnie and to the Ministry for simply "everything!" Please have a WONDERFUL weekend and I thank God J.R. is (I just know in my heart) doing better because of our Father and through prayer and love from everyone around this amazing Earth.

So very sorry to hear that.  I'm in shock and praying for J.R. and for you, too.  I loved the idea J.R. had that you said he wanted to send devotionals out about living in modern times, etc. a few days ago.  I thought it was incredible, and I was so looking forward to learning from it, and you said we must all pray for him... I wonder if this is teh enemy attempting to stop him from doing that great work which would help so manyof God's people. (NOTE: J.R. published his first "essay" on Tuesday, August 18th!!!)

I pray he will be protected and get well very soon.  Please let me know how he is doing, and you, too.

My prayers for J.R. started yesterday and already our Awesome God has provided him with a medical team that has skillfully repaired his heart with a stint.  God will also provide a way to get his blood sugar under control.

I pray that our gracious Lord will open h is arms wide and give you the comfort and guidance that you need to continue your being able to provide the health care and support J.R. needs.  The mission the two of you have helps so many of us, and I appreciate your dedication.  You, J.R. and the whole family remain in my daily prayers.

I just have to write a note to tell you how much I appreciated your message entitled, ENCOURAGE YOUR FRIENDS.  I had never thought of the scripture, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" in the perspective that you put it in before.  I had always taken the meaning literally, meaning to die for my friends.  I didn't know it meant to put aside your personal desires and activities in favor of doing something for your friends.  Thank you for a big eye opener today.........you made my day!! I have been blessed by Bonnie’s ministry for many years I have enjoyed Bible teaching most of my life (I am nearing 70 years of age).  I have never had a teacher that was more inspired by the Holy Spirit to teach God’s word

You shared some time back that you were struggling financially to keep the ministry going.  I wrote you a note suggesting that you not make you budget status known daily, but trust God to lay it on the hearts of the recipients of your teaching to support it.

This morning as I was studying I came noted this verse of scripture.

Gal 6:6 Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor

I believe that every person receiving  instruction from your teaching should , the Bible says must share in your ministry.   

I encourage every person who receives your devotional to be obedient to God’s word that the devotional  may continue to bless all who read it.

You may share any or this entire letter with your readers.
